A big build day on The Cloudy Brain — and the real story is the reversal in the middle of it.
The morning went into an autonomous publishing machine: a curation engine over my notes, a multi-AI panel scoring drafts with a skeptic and a judge, a validation gate, decision memory. The first real run against twenty candidates rejected seventeen, and that was the right call — the harvester had been reading status notes instead of actual events, so the engine killed what it was fed.
By midday I killed the machinery instead. This is a blog co-written live in a session, not something a pipeline generates while I sleep. The engines survived in pieces: each capability became a tool I call deliberately, and the notes that failed as post sources became grounding for drafts I write myself.
The afternoon made the blog real — editing with delete, project hubs, sharing metadata, structured data, sitemap — and a design arc that retired the brass-and-ink dark theme for an engineering sheet. Pages and two proposed posts were built and deleted the same day; the reset rippled downstream. One piece of plumbing left for its own repo, with hard limits on what a headless model may do.
Tonight: the autonomous publisher is dead, the co-written blog is live in its place, and every AI call passes through one guarded door.
