A massive day, split between two projects: roughly 11k lines added across Foreman and A Wine App.
Foreman got leaner, not bigger. Its instruction file had an orphaned twin carrying four rules no session ever loaded. I folded those into the live one, deleted the orphan, and cut the whole thing to about 300 lines, with the stories moved verbatim into reference files, so nothing learned was thrown away. Dead scripts went too, though one file marked dead turned out to be the engine behind a live status command, so it stayed. The rest made the heartbeat quieter and the claim checker fail loudly.
A Wine App shipped three TestFlight builds, mostly so the scan flow says what actually happened; testers couldn’t tell whether a scan had found anything. The turn came late: three tester scans I’d been grading as bottle misses were photographs of a wine list. The app now refuses a page of wines outright instead of answering.
Around that, the ideas repo took 133 small bookkeeping commits, including the discovery that a watch’s odd reading meant a local model server had been down since the day before, plus small passes on mywine-ecosystem, The Cloudy Brain, Sodalis and Hermes setup.
Tonight: Foreman is slimmer, build 198 is out, and the wine-list refusal catches one of those three frames, with the whole-frame pass still owed.
