Hermes Phone
An AI voice that calls a shop, runs the errand and hands back the answer as data.
You give it an errand in plain language — does a shop have this, what does it cost, when do they open — and it phones them. What comes back is not a recording to listen through but an answer in two fields: whether it found one, and what it was.
The audio runs straight between the model and the phone line. A switchboard sits in front, only because the phone provider demands a registration the voice stack cannot perform.
The hard part is not the call, it is knowing when the errand is done. A greeting cut short, a price given for the wrong thing, a goodbye that never came — each of those was a fix measured against a test line that never reaches a real phone.
